For over a decade, Casey and Max have collaborated in the construction industry, channeling their passion into transforming commercial spaces to enhance people's lives. They bring a wealth of experience, appreciating the entire building and renovation process. Dissatisfied with industry norms, they co-founded Stratos Construction in order to infuse a personal touch into every project. They are able bring a unique blend of technical expertise and genuine enthusiasm, ensuring each space reflects innovation, craftsmanship, and their commitment to creating liveable environments.
Evolution
2013-2014
Max and Casey first met during a Carpentry Apprenticeship program, where they honed their framing skills. Starting their careers as commercial concrete formworkers, they swiftly demonstrated a knack for executing intricate details and solving creative construction challenges, laying the foundation for a promising journey in the industry.
2014-2018
Enrolling in BCIT's civil engineering program, Casey and Max took divergent paths, each finding their niche. Casey's focus on structural analysis ignited a passion for abstract problem-solving. Meanwhile, Max diversified his skills through construction management and superintendent courses, excelling in these areas. Their time at BCIT laid the groundwork for a dynamic partnership that combines specialized expertise in analysis and construction management.
2018-2021
Building on their foundation, Max ascends within the construction industry, moving from skilled laborer to superintendent of residential and multi-family projects in just 18 months. Simultaneously, Casey gains valuable experience as a structural engineer in training. Casey then re-enters the field and begins cultivating a versatile skillset across various domains, including wood, concrete, and steel construction.
2021-Present
Coming together, they founded Stratos Construction Ltd., aiming to make a distinctive mark in the industry. Their company ethos revolves around a personal touch, hands-on execution, and a genuine care for every project. Rapidly, they established a network of like-minded, responsible, and high-performing subcontractors, fostering a collaborative approach. Their overarching goal is to inject energy and passion into the construction industry, setting a new standard for dedication and excellence.
